Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit Installation - 2010 Hyundai Elantra- Video

Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit Installation - 2010 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2010 Hundai Elantra, we'll be installing the Roadmaster brake light relay, part number RM-88400. Now, we'll first need to locate the brake light switch in our Elantra. A good way to find it is to follow the brake pedal up and you'll notice that the brake pedal has a switch, which when pushing on the brake pedal actuates the switch. This is a good indication of the stop light switch. On our vehicle, we've already gone ahead and found the wire leading to the brake lights back in the back so we're going to go ahead and unplug our brake light switch and show you those two wires. Now, they both come out of the same terminal on the connector so we'll go ahead and cut them off and attach two butt connectors, one on either side. Now, the butt connector that's connected to the wires closest to the plug will be the one we'll attach to first. We'll take our relay wiring and here on the green wire, we'll remove the insulation. more

Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Installation - 2010 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2010, Hyundai Elantra, we will be installing the Roadmaster InvisiBrake, supplemental braking system; part number: RM-8700. Now, before beginning our installation, weve already gone ahead and removed the rear seat, the drivers seat and both the front trim, as well as the rear door trim. Weve already gone ahead and removed the left front tire, as well as the left front inner fender well. This will allow us access to the main wiring harness where it passes through into the passenger compartment. Now, as you can see here, weve got our InvisiBrake box set onto the floor of the vehicle, underneath where the drivers seat would be. Well find a good location, making sure that the bolts that we are going to use to hold the box down go through the floor and dont go through anything else underneath the vehicle. more
